Weather and time of day
Weather follows a real-time schedule in each region; open the map, zoom out, pick a region and check the sun tab for the forecast. Rain brings Rainstorm forms, thunderstorms bring Thunderstorm forms, and snow brings Snowfield forms. Time of day is yours to set: open the menu and use the sun and moon slider, with no cooldown. The Branch's Change Weather can only start a Prismana Flow for now.
Change the time of day
- Open the menu (Esc on PC).
- Click the sun and moon slider on the right.
- Choose Noon, Nighttime, Early Morning or Dusk.
- Confirm. There is no cooldown.
What each weather brings

Change Weather at the Branch
At the Breezy Plains Branch choose Infuse Energy, then Change Weather, and offer a Prismana Crystal for a region. It needs 60 Lumin Amber delivered and that region's Silver Collection Badge. At launch the only option is Prismana Flow: rain, snow and sun cannot be chosen yet.
Another player's world can have different weather, so visiting a friend can reach weather-locked Aniimo. Photo mode also has a time and weather tab, but it only changes your photo, not the world.
Night
Shooting Stars appear only at night. One that lands spawns an Alpha Luminelle, but only if you watch it land; if you miss it, it circles and lands again later.
Quests that need night include Promotion: Stardust's Blessing against Senior Loulla, the side quest Is That a... Lighthouse?, and the Beast Fang Ridge Emberpup pack that leads to Alpha Scorchhowl. Nimbi only evolves into Dreaple after resting with you from night until day.

Weather and time, answered
How do you change the weather in Aniimo?
You cannot pick rain, snow or sun yet. Change Weather at the Breezy Plains Branch only starts a Prismana Flow, using a Prismana Crystal, once the region has its Silver Collection Badge and you have delivered 60 Lumin Amber.
How do you change the time of day?
Open the menu, use the sun and moon slider on the right, choose Noon, Nighttime, Early Morning or Dusk, and confirm. There is no cooldown.
How do you see the weather forecast?
Zoom the map all the way out, select a region and open the tab with the sun icon.
How do you get Rainstorm forms?
Catch them while it rains in their region. Check the forecast on the map, or visit a friend whose world has rain.
How do you find Shooting Stars?
At night. Watch one land and an Alpha Luminelle appears.
How does Nimbi evolve into Dreaple?
Rest with the Pathfinder from night until day, plus the level and talent requirements.
