New player guide

Pick your server first, because progress only carries between platforms on the same server. Then choose Helion or Lunara as your first companion, log in on seven days to collect Set Out, Pathfinder! (two Aniipod Ultras on day one, a Sparkling Cube on day seven), pick a free Prismana in the Prismana Pact and claim it at the Wayfarer I title, and redeem the launch codes once the story quest Chasing the Clouds opens your mailbox.
Your first days, in order
- Before you playPick your server
There are three: America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Your character carries over between PC, console and mobile only when you sign in to the same server, so pick the one you will stay on.
How cross-progression works - First loginLink an email if you use Google or another login
If you sign in with a third-party account, link an email on the first-login screen. If you skip it, only Customer Support can link one later.
Account details - Early storyChoose Helion or Lunara
Your first companion, and a permanent choice: you can only own one. Both are Holy DPS with identical base stats. Helion fights up close with burst damage; Lunara attacks from range, heals itself and weakens targets' Holy resistance.
Compare the two
- Every loginClaim Set Out, Pathfinder!
A seven-day login gift. Days do not need to be in a row. Day one gives two Aniipod Ultras and day seven gives a Sparkling Cube.
Rewards by day - Day onePick your free Prismana
In the Prismana Pact you choose one Aniimo in its Prismana form now and claim it when your title reaches Wayfarer I. You can change the pick until you claim.

Code rewards arrive by mail. Redeem in Settings, Account, Gift Code Redemption, and type the code exactly: they are case sensitive. If Mail is missing, look under the gear icon in the Account section.
Every code - After Chasing the CloudsStart your daily routine
Catching Alpha Turbo in the quest Chasing the Clouds unlocks Daily Activity and Elite Training. Daily Activity pays up to 3,000 Pathfinder EXP a day; Elite Training pays a Sparkling Cube at 120 points and a free Somniwing at 180.
The daily routine - Your first catchesLearn how catching works
Your odds depend on the Aniipod, the level gap, the target's HP or a back attack, and statuses like sleep. Aniipod Ultra and the Sparkling Cube always succeed.
How catching works - This weekJoin the events running now
Several launch events reward new players, including a 30-day login event and weekly Prismana boosts.
What is on now
Helion or Lunara
HelionTrait Solar Grace: 30% more final damage when not attacking with an advantageous element, and every 4 basic attacks empower the next skill. Its innate skill, Helios' Judgment, turns it into Soleon until the battle ends.
LunaraTrait Lunar Power: 30% more final damage when not attacking with an advantageous element, and skills charge basic attacks that deal extra damage and heal a little. Its innate skill, Selene's Judgment, turns it into Fennelun until the battle ends.
Both starters share the same base stats: HP 100, ATK 116, BREAK 64, P.DEF 72, M.DEF 72, REGEN 90. Pick the play style you like; neither is stronger on paper.
Choices you cannot undo
- Your character's gender.
- Your starter, Helion or Lunara.
- Title promotions. Each one also raises the level of wild Aniimo.
- Releasing an Aniimo.
- Aniipods you have thrown, including Aniipod Ultras and Sparkling Cubes.
The Aniipod selector remembers the last pod you threw. After using an Aniipod Ultra or a Sparkling Cube, switch back to a normal Aniipod before your next throw.
Small things worth knowing
- Primegy refills one point every six minutes up to 300. Spend it before it caps.
- Lumin Amber is the only way to raise your stamina, and each one gives 200 Pathfinder EXP.
- Your three free Nurtures a day do not carry over.
- There is no difficulty setting, and the game saves to the server on its own.
- If you get stuck in the world, Unstuck in Settings takes you to the nearest Transporter.
- Early Aniimo that help you explore: Celestis can climb and fly, Pranky and Glacy swim, and Cornet and Tromber can take off from flat ground.

Not at launch. You can only own one; the other goes back to the mural and appears in the main story. No guide has found a way to own both yet.
What do pre-registration rewards give?
Pre-registration passed 30 million, so everyone gets all four milestone rewards: the Sunlit Meadow outfit, an avatar frame, two Aniipod Ultras and 200 Glimmer.
