How to get Irisalis

The short answer

Irisalis is the season's Legendary Aniimo, and you get it in the Walking with Irisalis stage of the Legendary Journey, open from 25 September to 9 December. Reach Student I, collect 99 Irisalis Petals and craft the Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis. It opens the Rift Space where Irisalis lives; complete the encounter there to Twine with it. The encounter happens once, and befriending Irisalis also unlocks its exclusive Transmog.

How to get it

  1. Reach the Student I title.
  2. Collect 99 Irisalis Petals. The fastest sources are weekly limited, so start early.
  3. Open the Season Hub, go to Legendary Journey and craft the Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis.
  4. Enter the Rift Space the pod opens and complete the encounter to Twine with Irisalis.
  5. Claim the Gift of Blessing, then spend more petals on Windchaser's Departure pods if you want them.

The two shop sources reset every week, so the petals cannot all be bought at once.

The Rift Space encounter

Crafting the Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis opens the Rift Space, where Irisalis lives. Complete the encounter there to Twine with Irisalis and unlock the Gift of Blessing.

It happens once, so build your team before you craft the pod.

What Irisalis unlocks

Befriending Irisalis unlocks its exclusive Transmog, the cosmetic reroll only Legendary Aniimo have. Since 30 September Irisalis has five Transmog presets, up from three.

Its exclusive Held Item, the Floral Rainbow Feather, costs 30 Irisalis Petals, and 2 petals buy a Glimmering Driftshadow for Transmog.

The Windchaser's Departure pod

Once you have Irisalis, the Gift of Blessing lets you craft the Legendary Aniipod: Windchaser's Departure for 49 Irisalis Petals each, up to 10 per account. It is also shown as Departure with the Wind.

It always catches, and the Aniimo comes out Sparkling with Perfect Potential and a season-exclusive effect: a trail of flowers that follows it.
