Aniimo odds

The short answer

The game publishes its Sparkling and Prismana odds. A Sparkling Cube catch or hatch is 99% Common and 1% Dazzling. Shadow comes from Egg Heist eggs hatched with a Cube, at 1%, or from a Sparkling Sigil or Pigment, at 0.5%. A nurture paid with Vein Essence has a 3% chance to start a Prismana Flow. Umbral odds aren't published, but the best unofficial figure is 1 in 3,000 per encounter. Lucky Strike chances aren't published either, and your Aniipod doesn't change them.

Umbral odds

The best unofficial figure for the Umbral chance is 1 in 3,000 per encounter. That chance is the same for every species that can be Umbral. Prismana forms, the starters, Irisalis, Besauce and Somniwing are never Umbral. At that rate, half of all players see one within 2,080 encounters. Nine in ten see one within 6,907.

Want a surer way? These routes skip the random chance. Umbral eggs from Operation: Egg Heist always hatch an Umbral. And Wild Surges started by nurturing can include one.

Lucky and Super Lucky Strikes

Any catch can turn into a Lucky Strike. You'll see a LUCKY or SUPER LUCKY pop-up when it happens. Super Lucky is the rarer of the two. Both give you items straight away and raise the area's Prismatic Energy. Since the September 18 patch, a Strike that fills the gauge lets that area's Prismana appear again right away.

The chances aren't published. The Aniipod you throw doesn't change them. So don't waste better pods trying to get Strikes.

When the odds reset

The odds themselves never change. But the daily and weekly limits on what you spend trying for them do reset. Daily limits reset at 4 AM server time. Weekly ones reset on Monday at 4 AM server time. That's Monday 8 AM UTC on the America server, Monday 4 AM UTC in Europe, and Sunday 8 PM UTC on Asia-Pacific.

Odds, answered

What are the Umbral odds in Aniimo?

The game doesn't publish them. The best unofficial figure is 1 in 3,000 per encounter. At that rate, half of all players see one within 2,080 encounters.

What are the Sparkling odds in Aniimo?

A Sparkling Cube always makes an Aniimo Sparkling, with a 99% chance of Common Style and 1% of Dazzling. Egg Heist eggs hatched with a Cube have a 1% chance of Shadow instead. Sparkling Sigils or Pigment give a 0.5% chance of Dazzling and 0.5% of Shadow.

What is the chance of a Prismana Flow?

A nurture paid with Vein Essence has a 3% chance to start a Prismana Flow straight away. The chance is the same on every nurture. Otherwise, a Flow starts when the area's Prismatic Energy gauge is full.

What is the chance of a Lucky Strike?

The chance isn't published, and the Aniipod you throw doesn't change it. Super Lucky is the rarer of the two kinds.

Does a better Aniipod give more Lucky Strikes?

No. Your Aniipod changes your catch chance, but not your chance of a Lucky or Super Lucky Strike.

When is the weekly reset in Aniimo?

The weekly reset is on Monday at 4 AM server time. That's Monday 8 AM UTC on the America server and Monday 4 AM UTC in Europe. It's Sunday 8 PM UTC on Asia-Pacific, which is already Monday morning there.
